The strength and aesthetic quality of a denture depends on the material components used to make it. Many of the denture problems we see are related to the use of inferior materials.

We use only the highest quality denture teeth, acrylic and chrome. Each component is carefully chosen to provide the best results, so your denture is both natural looking and extremely hard wearing.

Denture teeth
Teeth are the most visible part of your denture. To smile and talk with confidence you need denture teeth that look natural, and to eat with confidence you need denture teeth that are extremely strong and hard wearing.

We use the Vivodent PE® and Orthosit PE® denture teeth supplied by Ivoclar Vivadent, a Swiss company. They are multilayered denture teeth, which gives them outstanding strength and lifelike appearance. “PE” stands for “Pearl Effect”: the teeth have a subtle pearly sheen, translucent tips and natural characterisations to help create a natural and healthy smile.

The teeth come in a variety of natural shades and shape types. By choosing teeth that closely resemble the natural teeth you have lost, and carefully setting them up in alignment with certain facial features, an authentically natural look can be achieved.

The teeth are extremely durable and resistant to wear and abrasion. They wear down very slowly, which will preserve your facial height for many years after your denture is fitted.

Denture acrylic
Denture acrylic should be natural looking and hard wearing to resist breaks and fractures. We use Diamond D® Ultra High Impact acrylic supplied by Keystone Industries, an American company. It has just the right translucency and colour variations found in natural tissue, as well as ultra high impact and flexural strength. Independent studies show it is the strongest, most fracture resistant denture acrylic on the market.

Denture chrome
Denture chrome should be both ultra-light and ultra-strong. We use Remanium® alloy supplied by Dentaurum, a German company. It is an extra hard and smooth alloy that resists breakage while feeling lightweight in the mouth. This alloy has been extensively tested for biocompatibility and will cause no harmful effects to your mouth.
